    Rabbit in salmorejo: Rabbit in salmorejo is a typical dish of Canarian cuisine. It consists of rabbit meat marinated in a mixture of spices, such as garlic, pepper, cumin, bay leaf and vinegar, and then simmered. It is usually served with wrinkled potatoes.
  3. Ropa vieja: Ropa vieja is a dish of shredded meat stewed with chickpeas, potatoes, onions, peppers and garlic. It is a very tasty and comforting dish, and its name comes from the appearance of the shredded meat.
  4. Sancocho canario: Sancocho canario is a traditional fish dish eaten in the Canary Islands. It is made by cooking different types of fish, such as wreckfish (abadejo), vieja (sama), cabrilla (cabracho) or pargo, together with potatoes and sweet potatoes in a fish stock. It is usually served with mojo and gofio.
  5. Bienmesabe: Bienmesabe is a Canarian dessert made with ground almonds, honey, sugar, eggs and lemon. It has a pudding-like consistency and is very tasty. It is served cold and is a popular dessert in the Canary Islands.
